Headless.

Headless

Headless frontend

A headless store frontend written in React – one of the two most popular frontend languages in the world. It provides unlimited development possibilities and the certainty of easy access to programmers, resulting from the popularity of the language used.

Additionally, separating the frontend from the backend and connecting them via API makes the store incredibly fast for the customer.

api

Frontend and backend connected via API

The connection of the frontend and backend is done via API based on the API Platform framework. This means that the layers are separated, providing maximum security. By separating the frontend from the backend, the attack surface is significantly reduced. Attacks can only be directed at specific API endpoints, which are carefully secured and monitored.

The benefits of
from headless solutions:
1 Popular programming language (easy to introduce new people to development)

2. The highest level of data security

3. Possibility to create multiple websites on one product base
4. Fast and smooth application operation

Multi-front-end.

Multi-frontend
Due to its headless nature, Sellina enables easy scaling of the business by quickly setting up additional stores (e.g. for a narrowed product range).
Scalability also concerns the growth of the number of orders and the development of the product base – Sellina uses the Magento engine, which is known for its efficiency. This engine allows for trouble-free handling of product bases > 1 million SKUs and sales at the level of several thousand orders per day.
Use Case:

The company sells from Poland to 16 foreign markets. Thanks to Sellina, we have embedded one backend that is connected to 16 frontends. The implementation of each additional front-end cost only about 20% of the price of the basic Sellina implementation (the value of implementing another front-end may vary for different projects).

Intermediary database.

Optional.

Intermediary database
The biggest system challenge is connecting the e-commerce platform with other systems such as ERP. The ready-made plugins or API integrations implemented by integrators, in practice, cause delays and problems with data transfer.
The facilitation of this process, which generates savings, speeds up and simplifies the task for the integrator – is the use of an intermediary database (so-called data bus). This is an external database to which we send key data from Sellina, and thanks to its simple structure and good documentation, integration with ERP is much easier and more efficient.
Use Case:

One of our clients wanted to connect to an external system. Due to the complex Magento databases, the Integrator, who did not understand them, was unable to connect to the store system for 14 months. Thanks to our issuing of the Intermediary Database, the Integrator completed the integration in 3 weeks.

PIM.

Optional.

Product information management

PIM Akeneo is an innovative tool that allows you to digitize your product database in one place, ensure the current status and amount of product information presented, and synchronize everything with other company systems.

It is an optional addition that most customers decide to implement to ensure the best possible maintenance of their product database.
