How do we connect Sellina to your systems?

We build integration using one of several methods – depending on what is on the other side:

Directly via API.

Through a ready-made module or connector.

With the participation of a partner who takes care of your ERP system and adds the missing API ends.

For advanced integration with ERP, we also use the Intermediate Database – a single place that translates data between systems, so there is no need to write a separate connector.

Sellina is built on an open source engine (Magento 2), so integration isn't limited by a partner directory. If your system isn't on our integration list, it doesn't mean we won't connect – we'll choose the appropriate method from the ones described above for your specific situation.

What is an intermediary database?

This is an external database to which Sellina sends key data in a simple, well-documented structure. We use it for ERP integrations – where the Magento database structure can be confusing for the integrator, and this is often the most common cause of delays and errors in data transfer between systems.

Thanks to the proxy database, the integrator—even without prior Magento knowledge—knows immediately where to retrieve and send data. It's also easier to map data between systems, so it ends up exactly where it needs to be, with less risk of error.

Most frequently asked questions

What if my system is not listed?

We connect directly via API, through a ready-made module or connector, or, in the case of integration with ERP, through a partner managing your system or through an Intermediary Database. The list of partners shows ready-made integrations, not a limit to the possibilities.

How long does integration with ERP take?

It depends on the complexity of the system on the other side, but thanks to the intermediary database, the process is shorter than with direct integration – in one project it took 3 weeks.

Is integration included in the price of Sellina or is it paid separately?

The Intermediary Database for ERP integration is an optional service, paid separately from the basic version of Sellina. Contact us and we'll provide you with the exact cost for your specific case.

Can I integrate several systems at once (e.g. ERP and WMS)?

Yes – one of the solutions we often use in many integrations is an intermediary database (so-called data bus) – it was designed for this purpose, the integrations are not mutually exclusive.

Does integration require the involvement of my IT department?

Typically, yes – your IT department or the designated company managing your ERP system. However, as examples of completed projects demonstrate, there are challenging situations that have been successfully completed, such as simultaneous ERP system changes, personnel changes, or the lack of an internal IT department.
